Good Day All
Ive got a Samsung 5265. I need a VCR. So, I'm considering an inexpensive DVD/VCR combo to save space. Considering the Samsung DVD VR357 but I have 2 questions.
First, with a 54MHz/10-bit video digital-to-analog (D/A) conversion verses twice the MHz rating of many stand alone DVD players, will this produce a poor picture by comparison?
Second, it seems many here know which prosessors can upconvert certain formats all the way to 1080P. The Samsung VR357 goes to 720P and 1080i.
Will my TV do the rest and bring the 720p up to 1080p?
Don/t mean to sound cheap as I am going to buy a DVD/HD-DVD/Blueray player after they have been out for a year or so
Thanks in advance for input.
