I'd like to do something to darken at least part of the ceiling above my projection screen. I don't want to paint the entire ceiling black, and even if I did, this would create problems because the theater room/living room ceiling adjoins the dining room and a hall way. There would have to be some sort of molding on the edge of the paint to show a clear point of separation or it would look bad. But I'd really prefer to use fabric or something similar. By the way, my ceiling is textured drywall.

Anybody got pics of what they used to darken the ceiling above their projection screen, but DIDN'T use paint?

Or anybody got partially painted ceiling pics?

Just looking for some ideas.

Under construction 2 inch thick frame stuffed with linacoustic, wrapped in black GOM. Glued and screwed to ceiling.
