I'm about a month or two from finishing a minimalist setup for my entertainment. The core for the evening video is a SIM2 D10, Humax HD-7000 and an Apple TV running Take Two. The new audio will be updated to a Cambridge Audio 540R V3 Azur and a set of Monitor Audio RS6's.

I definitely want music, and some TV, during the days that I work from home. I'd prefer to have everything ripped lossless for listening at home, but I need the same library available for my iPod Touch when traveling.

Here's the question: Should I add a second LCD to the setup somehow to control the aTV and handle daytime TV or replace the aTV and HD tuner with an iMac / EyeTV setup. How does FrontRow compare with Take Two. I don't plan on renting HD content, even if it was available in AU. I'll be ripping my DVD's using Handbrake. I currently have a 24" iMac with EyeTV for the upstairs bedroom and am very satisfied.
