Hello there, this is my first post so please forgive me if this in the wrong section.

As of now I have a standard digital cable box connected via coax to my PCI TV Tuner (ATI 650). I use Vista Media Center for all of my TV watching and recording.

I use an Antenna to capture my OTA HD signals, which also works fine.

However, I am moving and I ordered an HD Tuner from Time Warner.

Will I be able to view the HD Channels via the cable box the way my set up is connected now? (Cable to HD Box to PCI Tuner all via coax) Or would I need to use the Firewire solution I see posted?

The cable box cannot output HD via coax, so you'll have to go the firewire route.

Onto another question...is there anyway to control the STB connected by firewire via Vista's Media Center?
