In addition to this site and the Blu Ray Digest, I like to indulge myself while riding to work on that wonderful Long Island Railroad (gotta kill 60 minutes somehow!).

Can anyone suggest a solid magazine that [really] covers Blu Ray and the like? I came across an English import entitled (I think), HiDef Magazine. It costs about $12 (US) but is probably THE BEST magazine covering the industry I have ever seen. Unfortunately many articles are endemic to England are of no use to an American reader.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In Long Island you should be able to get the Verizon "broadband wireless" adapter for your laptop. Not as cheap as a magazine subscription but you'll have internet access on the train. I would think the signal would be ok on a train.
