Hello everyone,

I'm connecting a Sony lcd TV to a Sony Blu-ray player. One HDMI cable will run from the TV into the wall for about 5 feet to an HDMI wall plate. The second HDMI cable will run the short distance from the wall plate to the player.

Any suggestions as to brand and specific type of HDMI cable for these applications to get the best possible picture?

Also, while I'm here, are any HDMI wall plates better-recommended than others?

Thanks for any help.

Just installed Monorprice HDMI's for my room and 100% thrilled. Even my wife was taking back by the picture. No reason to spend anymore then what they charge. I saved over $400 using their cables then BB Monster Cables. I was skeptical at first but Im sold.

I just ordered three of their 1.3a

if I can link it - here it is: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10240&cs_id=1024008&p_id=3992&seq=1&format=2

they seem to be well built, sturdy cables. I couldn't see spending $80+ on monster cables...
