Hi,

I really need some help making this decision! I have been thinking about an upgrade for quite some time and I can't figure out which model will work with my other components. I am fairly new to modern technology and I know you guys will have some great input. Out of all the other sections in the forum you guys are cutting edge and I respect your opinions!

Oh and I also work to hook up my audio equipment as well. Please see the links below to my equipment, also can you recommend some cables for connections as too? :D

Welcome to the CRT forum. Your choices for a tv, while a little dated, will likely provide picture quality equivalent to most LCD panels currently available.

In addition, there are quite a few CRT models, made in the last five years, that will actually beat most current LCDs, hands down, on picture quality. You might open up your options to include those as well. The Sony XBR, HS and XS lines are fantastic and are quite cheap in used condition.

Of course, you'll need oxygen free Monster Cables for connection to the audio components.

PS: If you added an LCD and a Sony CRT to the poll, I would gladly vote.
