Sometimes the image in one of TV’s corners becomes blurry and then goes away. Has anybody herd of anything similar?

I have the chance of buying this TV for 50$ to 100$ Is it worth it, can it be fixed from the service menu ?

Sounds like a mechanical problem with the CRT's focusing mechanics. If it were consistent, you might be able to adjust it away. But the fact that it's intermittent means you would have to find the underlying cause of the intermittent problem. It would cost more than $50-$100 to fix.

Thank you very much for your answer. I did not buy the TV in the end. I was also alarmed at the fact that it is not there al all times. The TV was too old to be worth fixing. Also the person selling it seemed very shady and not trustworthy.
