Hi,

I've been thinking about getting another STB to use to record things via the firewire port. Before I do that though I want to make sure it's worth my while in getting the box. Currently all we have here is an old DCT 2000 box (I do all my current recordings via qam and whatnot, but that's besides the point). I've read a little bit on how to check if the channel has 5c on and whatnot, but I'm having trouble deciphiring the 'Current Channel Status' page on this box. It doesn't seem to be as clear as what to what I read here (http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/How_to_use_a_Motorola_DVR/Configuration#How_To_Check_If_5C_DTCP_is_Enabled).

Could it have something to do with the line that starts with 'service'? That's the only line from the channels that I have checked that seems to change from channel to channel.

Or could this box just not be capable of displaying this information? There's no clear designation to a CCI value or DRM value in the Current Channel Status screen. Anyone have some help for me here?
