Anyone here successfully hookup a Replay 3000 (or Panasonic Showstopper) to one of the new CECB boxes?

(I mean where the Replay can control the CECB via IR Blaster.)

If so, can you explain the CECB model and the process you used. Thanks.

Great topic. I have 2 cards expiring around May 20th that I want to use to get at least 1 box that will be IR blastable from my Replay 3000. However I have no idea what ones are. No one seems to have a list of what the master codes are of the various boxes and what ones are selectable by the Replay boxes.

Someone just reported that a Zenith cable/satellite box code will definitely control the Zenith/Insignia boxes.

And the chances are that a Pioneer cable box code will still control the Digital Stream like it did their last, HD ATSC model.

I don't think the stock Replay Zenith code will work. At least I couldn't get it to work on a Replay 5080.....don't know about the older Showstopper. I have one of those also, but never tried the stock Zenith code since I had no success on the 5080. With the help from KenL, (elsewhere on this site) I was able to get the 5080 to work by adding a new RID file (from the JPL site) on the box using WiRNS. WiRNS is a real pain to set up, but once done, everything is perfect. All channels and subs are now in the Replay Guide. The Showstopper isn't network capable, so a different, unknown by me method, must be used.

I'm also searching for a way to control a Showstopper.....like to move it to the bedroom.

I have the old LG LST-3410A HD DVR. Its remote can control the Zenith, and vice versa.
