After 10 minutes or so there is a loud crackle sound and the picture goes away for a 15 seconds or so, comes back on, is ok for a few minutes, then does it again.

Is it worth fixing? It's over a year old, has a one year parts warranty, 2 years picture tube, 90 days labor. Even with the doubling by the credit card, labor isn't going to be included and someone has to come to the house to fix it. I am not carrying a 100 pound TV around.
