I bought this monoprice 5.1 2-gang wallplate (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10425&cs_id=1042503&p_id=4012&seq=1&format=1#largeimage). On the front it has an rca type connector for the sub signal input from my receiver which is fine. On the back, however, the wall plate has a screw type f-connector.

Am i suposed to use a coaxial cable with an f-connector for the in-wall run?

I acctually have a bunch of coaxial cable from comcast (my local cable company) will that work?

thanks

Thats what I did for some component runs and also for my subwoofer run. Works great for component over a long run..... seems to work for the sub ok.
