I am putting together a system right now to replace my onkyo HTIB.. Already got the SVS PB10 - Getting the Aperion 5 or 6 series Front Center, Left and Right.. To close things out I need to replace my surrounds. I really dont want to use speaker mounts in the wall.. Ideally, id like to use speakers that have a keyhole for hanging on a nail.. Maybe the Def. Tech 400 series?

If the surrounds are light enough you can always add a picture hanger to the back of any surround you like. But unless your studs are perfectly aligned where you want them it'll have to be a pretty light speaker or use anchors and they'll leave a large hole where they have been. Hope that helps in some way.

studs are in place ;) I acutally have some rather heavy onkyos hanging there now :)

Athena WS-15s are light and have keyhole hangers. They even allow you to angle the speakers to the left or right.
