"Dad, how can you hate the Colonial?" "Because he puts an addictive chemical in his chicken to make you crave it fortnightly....smarta#*!" ToddUGA 03-20-08, 08:36 PM So I Married an Axe Murderer is a guilty pleasure of mine so I'll definitely be picking this one up. fuzzybk 03-20-08, 09:18 PM So I Married an Axe Murderer is a guilty pleasure of mine so I'll definitely be picking this one up. I totally agree. "HEEEEEED........pants........NOW!!!!!!!!!!" ToddUGA 03-21-08, 07:01 AM "He'll be crying himself to sleep tonight on his huge pillow." Paul Arnette 03-21-08, 10:28 AM "Like the fruuuiiits of the deeeviiiil, evil". "We have a piper down. I repeat we have a piper dooowwwnn" Man, I love this movie. I hope it comes out in the US. I guess there is a good possibility it will in order to tie in with The Love Guru. camaj 03-21-08, 10:50 PM Even though I love SIMAAM it was one of the last DVD's I bought. I actually got it on a box-set with Groundhog day (another big fav) and Anger management (meh). But it looks like this and Groundhog day will be out pretty early. I just hope the quality is good. "Kooby-wooby-woom-woom tea?" camaj 04-07-08, 11:40 PM The Digital bits confirm that both titles will be released in the US on 17th June. Surely Groundhog day will be in June too. Vince2909 04-08-08, 09:45 AM I hoep this is a good/pristine/atleast four star remaster release and not some crap fest. schroedk 04-08-08, 09:52 AM I saw So I Married an Axe Murderer in the theater and watch it about once a year, definitely one of my guilty pleasure movies. I just recorded it off of I think HDNET (DirecTV), and was pretty pleased with the HD. It wasn't in OAR, which would be nice for the BD. Shouldn't be too hard to clean up and make a pristine video presentation out of it; not a lot of fast action. The DVD and HDNet broadcast were both in that ratio. schroedk 04-08-08, 03:26 PM Isn't the OAR 1.85:1? The DVD and HDNet broadcast were both in that ratio. Actually, I guess it is. My bad. 2Fast2Josh 04-09-08, 04:30 PM I don't think there is anything guilty about liking So I Married. It's with the original Austin Powers as some of Mike Meyer's best stuff, imo. SC0TLANDF0REVER 04-10-08, 04:00 AM "He'll be crying himself to sleep tonight on his huge pillow." "shhh you'll give him a complex" Adam_ME 04-10-08, 10:15 AM "shhh you'll give him a complex" "HEED!!! PANTS!!! NOW!!!" :D anam8tr 04-10-08, 02:34 PM MIB will probably be the new reference disk. From the crisp SD DVD to TNT's broadcast in HD, this disk is gonna be a must own for demo material. Wonder why no MIB2? JBlacklow 04-10-08, 03:29 PM I don't think there is anything guilty about liking So I Married. It's with the original Austin Powers as some of Mike Meyer's best stuff, imo.+1 This is my favorite of his movies. Off the top of my head, I can only think of two others that came even close, and that's the first movies of both "Wayne's World" and "Austin Powers". Arkin is frickin' awesome as the neurotic police chief. |
