Man, I love this movie. I hope it comes out in the US. I guess there is a good possibility it will in order to tie in with The Love Guru.

Even though I love SIMAAM it was one of the last DVD's I bought. I actually got it on a box-set with Groundhog day (another big fav) and Anger management (meh). But it looks like this and Groundhog day will be out pretty early. I just hope the quality is good.

"Kooby-wooby-woom-woom tea?"

The Digital bits confirm that both titles will be released in the US on 17th June. Surely Groundhog day will be in June too.

I hoep this is a good/pristine/atleast four star remaster release and not some crap fest.

I saw So I Married an Axe Murderer in the theater and watch it about once a year, definitely one of my guilty pleasure movies. I just recorded it off of I think HDNET (DirecTV), and was pretty pleased with the HD. It wasn't in OAR, which would be nice for the BD. Shouldn't be too hard to clean up and make a pristine video presentation out of it; not a lot of fast action.

I did the same, DVR'd it from HDNET.

Isn't the OAR 1.85:1? The DVD and HDNet broadcast were both in that ratio.

Actually, I guess it is. My bad.

I don't think there is anything guilty about liking So I Married. It's with the original Austin Powers as some of Mike Meyer's best stuff, imo.

MIB will probably be the new reference disk. From the crisp SD DVD to TNT's broadcast in HD, this disk is gonna be a must own for demo material. Wonder why no MIB2?

This is my favorite of his movies. Off the top of my head, I can only think of two others that came even close, and that's the first movies of both "Wayne's World" and "Austin Powers". Arkin is frickin' awesome as the neurotic police chief.
