I have 2 panasonic th50px50u's, the one in my bedroom started having a weird flickering problem, screen flash on and off, not turning on, having to push the power button 20-30 times before it works, I have a 3 year guarentee from Circuit city on the tv, they said there's nothing wrong with the set! lol

How would one cause a power surge to the set so it's fried so I can get a new one! These warranty people make me sick.

I take it that you have an extended warranty and you contacted the warranty people? I would go to the store and speak to the store manager.
