I have my xbox (xbox, NOT xbox 360) connected to a switch box through component cables. That switch box is then connected to the Pio through component cables. Also, FYI, my xbox is modded and running a recent version of XBMC.
I stream movies/tv episodes from my computer though the xbox. I have to set the screen to wide to make sure it covers the whole screen and I don't get an underscan issue which will unevenly burn the pixels. However, at random intervals, the image will shift about 5-10 pixels or so to the right. The right side of the screen is perfectly fine, but the left side scoots over. I can easily fix this by hitting the "Home Menu" button, and then selecting "Picture". Once I get into the "Picture" menu, the image scoots back over and is once again in the correct place.
I've tried searching for answers, but there's a lot of lingo I still don't quite understand, so I'm a bit lost. I'm wondering if maybe the issue is due to my settings or because my xbox goes through a switchbox first. I can't tell you what settings I have exactly at this moment due to being at work, but I'll answer any of those questions later on this afternoon.
Any ideas on why it does this?
::EDIT:: Also, this shift ONLY happens during the playback of the media. When I'm in XBMC and going through its menu's, it doesn't do this shift at all. I'm assuming it's the resolution of the media itself. Am I wrong?
