I like that way my movies look on XBL but I couldn't help but think it would be nice if I can watch it instantly. I was wondering do some of other family feel the same way. Sorry VUDU family you already have instant movie watching so this question is not directed at you.

With Xbox Live I am able to watch the HD titles in around 20 seconds.( I have a 30mbs FIOS connection)
With VUDU all content, HD and SD, you can start watching instantly. And as long as you have a 2mbs connection for Sd and a 4mbs connection for HD, you can continue to watch and it will stream in realtime or faster.

I have no idea. The last time I had a 6mbs connection was way before the Xbox360 was around. i just know with my 30mbs FIOS that I can start watching in 20 seconds.
I guess I could do a test one day and limit one of my 360s to a 6mbs bandwidth and see how it affects the download service. Although I haven't used the Xbox Live VOD service much since getting my VUDU boxes in early February. Xbox Live is my second choice for VOD right now.
