My cable box is the Motorola DCT 6400 series ( actually 6412 Phase 3 ) I'm getting dropouts once in awhile. I remember once when they came out to replace my older model that the service guy pressed some buttons on the remote and brought up a screen that showed the signal strength.

I was wondering if anyone knows what buttons to press? I would like to view this info too. I had asked the guy what he pressed but he said he wasn't allowed to tell me!

I know that this PVR is used by many Cable Providers. Thanks
