Hey all,
What would your dream bachelor pad be, within reason? What type of amenities would it include? It would have to be housed within a relatively small condo.
Here's a few things mine would include to get things started:
-U-shaped couch with a lot of big pillows
-Big LCD hooked up to a HTPC with hundreds of Blu-Ray movies ripped onto it
-Surround sound system which could play all my thousands of songs (ripped to the HTPC) from a remote
-Hot tub on balcony with coloured lights
-A variety of beer, alcohol, and wine at the ready
What would you want?

sounds great except:
u absolutely need to lose the 'big lcd'!:eek:
a 'dream pad' can have no less than a good lens based cih projector and 2.35x1 screen combo!
or if u must have the lcd, have it hidden behind the drop down screen.
anything else would be 'heresy':eek:

Friend has this setup sans Hot tub. His built his own arcade game system with all the older classic from Pacman to Mortal Kombat and other strange stuff I have never seen. Poker table in the front of the house in the Dinning room. Total Bachelor pad per my wife.
Ill see if he has any suggestions to add.

Ok, ok Wytchone, it's a bachelor pad.
I have my HTPC with 1.8TB of storage comprised of:
~15 complete TV series, 200+ movies, 40GB of non DRM mp3s, arcade games with slikstik arcade control deck, THX 2.1 sound (still working on the surround sound) 52" Plasma display, xbox 360 and a partridge in a pear tree.
And yes I do have the poker table in the front, next to the computer lab.
I can stream my music or video to any PC in the house as well as outside of the using the wireless network. I keep a laptop and set of external speakers so that I can setup outside for boils, bbqs and what not outdoor activities.
