I hope this is the right forum for this but here goes...
I bought a pair of Swan M-200's around May of last year to use as speakers for my TV. About two months ago the volume control no longer affected the left speaker, it seems to stay at the same volume all the time. I tried contacting swan about this but their customer support seems to be non-existant. I got someone who sounded like she was a secretary and she directed me to an email address that go no response. I thought I'd give a shot at fixing it myself and attempted to take off the panel where the electronics appear to be located today but one of the screws appear to be threaded and it won't come out. I was hesitant to take apart the whole speaker as I'm worried about properly sealing it again. Any suggestions? Having to listen to everything at an unbalanced volume is getting old. Thanks for any help.
