Hi Folks,

Can anybody tell me if it possible to put, say a 160gig or 250gig Hdd in a Panny DMR-T3040P. It came with a 40 gig. Tho, she is an oldie, but still a goodie. I have had it since 2003 and it has never given me any problems. It works quite fine, I would just like to be able to put a larger drive in it if possible.

Does anybody know anything about this panny or can they point me possibly in the right direction of someone who would know? Thought I would ask before I went out and bought a HDD and try to install it.

Tks In advance. :)

Box.

Every Panasonic that people have replaced the HDD in has limited the new drive to no larger a formated space than the original spec. IOW if you put a bigger drive in, it will only format it to the original size and not use the rest of the HDD space.
