I currently have my constrast set to 38%. However, where I'm having a hard time is with brightness. There are many dark scenes in some of the movies recently where I notice I'm missing some of the detail from those dark areas on the screen. The reason I know I'm missing details is when I crank up the brightness ie: 70%, I can see things I wouldn't see if it were at my usual 60%.

The problem I'm having is 70% is great for the dark scenes but far too bright for the regular scenes. Is there any way of improving the shadows/black details of dark scenes so I get more of the details and not just a block of black without having to crank up and crank down the brightness?
