I need some help please. My horizontal line on the bottom of the screen is fine. The one up top is driving me nuts. Its pretty straight in the center but as it reaches in the end on both sides its coming up. Kind of seagul-ish? Is there anyway to make adjustments so that I may fix this? Service menu? Ive been into the menu once or twice before but couldnt figure out how to nagivate. Does this service menu alow geometry correction or adjustments?

Anyone? Is there anything I can do in the service menu or to the tv itself? Ive read of people using foam and what not to put behind the mirror it the case itself?

Anyone know anything? There is nothing in the SM to "fix" this issue. From your description it sounds like a slightly misformed mirror. A certain amount of this is normal, but if it is a big problem for you, I'd suggest trying to get it repaired under warranty.

hi guys
this is most likely a mechnical alignment issue. I doubt that your mirror is warped (something that is very hard to do).
Get a service manual and figure out how to do a mechanical vertical centering. You will need a good test pattern to adjust to. After you have removed the bowing, then use the electronic centering control to center.

1. google sony + service + manual + your model
2. purchase after googling
3. read the service manual and follow the instructions.
