What are you people putting the back light at? I want to find a happy medium for day time viewing and night viewing. With the deepest blacks.

most people would recomened between 150-200cdm for daytime viewing.

If you don't have a tool to measure that, I'd say set the backlight to as bright as you can stand it for nightime viewing.

Set it to 50-60%. Remember, we're not at LaGuardia guiding 757s in on the redeye here! Leave it there UNTIL you have a means of measuring for the proper setting.

Sotti: Never never never suggest anybody do anything "as bright as possible", as "fast as possible(driving)" or "hot as possible(cooking)". Might as well tell them to set it as bright as you feel.

There's only one place for "full throttle": Daytona Intl. Speedway.
