I have searched a lot about speaker setup but still have questions based on my living room. Centered on one wall is the TV, it is in an entertainment center that the wife loves. The room is about 17' x 17' with a vaulted ceiling. The back side of the room (across from the TV) is open to the kitchen. That is where the vaulted ceiling stops. Here are my problems.

If I put the center speaker below the TV it will be at 24" but I think the the love seat on one side will block the left front speaker some. If I put it above the TV it will be at roughly 56" and I can not find stands higher than 42". Ear level is at about 40" but I can not get the center speaker there. What would be the best option here?

The second problem is the rear speakers. I can not put them on the sides so the only option is on the wall where the vaulted ceiling ends. This will be about 8' high and 4' behind the couch that faces the TV. What is my best option here as far as where to aim them.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have my center channel at about 60", I went to Home Depot and got so shelving and made a shelf for it and aimed it down. It works for me.

As far as the rears go, I would aim them toward the primary listening seating.

A trick I picked up here is to hold a mirror against the speaker so it is facing me and aim the speaker until I can see myself, you may need someone to give you a hand with this.

Good luck!
