Would anyone know the procedures to adjust the focus on a Samsung HL-P4663W. The TV Tech adjusted it becuse he thought it was out of focus when it was new 3 years ago but I think it's off after comparing it to other DLP's. I know how to get to and turn the focusing ring but what can I use for a dislay for best adjustment?

As I have lots of projection experience in the motion picture industry I would recommend focusing to sharp text if you do not have access to a calibration disc like DVE. Text (credits, mpaa rating on DVDs, etc) is almost always in focus.
just my 2 cents
Question for you though
I have the same TV as you and wish to adjust the focus. My question is after removing the back panel how did you access the focus ring? Did you have to remove the chassis, or can you just reach in?

I noticed that someone said to check out the attachments on post 20. Our sets don't have that kind of focusing knob. I found, that there was some sort of clip/locking mechanism that goes over the top of the lens. If you remove it, you can maually turn the lens CW or CCW.
