I want to build a small quiet media player/streamer HTPC. I will not be using it for recording. Only playback of various video files such as ripped DVD's and Divx/avi, playing music, and viewing pictures. I have a X2 3800+ am2 processor I would like to reuse and 2 GB of ram I picked up on a deal. Any recommendations on case and motherboard? I have a harmony remote I would like to control it with and my Sony HDTv has a VGA port on it I can connect to. I don't even know if I need a optical drive in it though it may be nice to be able rip dvd's without taking them up to my desktop machine. Any help would be great. Thanks.
