A year ago in this forum there use to be studio reps online chatting up the HD-DVD format.

I just wished just one of these studio reps (if they still employed?) could explain to me why the "Run away" from supporting HD-DVD with new releases? Not just guesses from fellow forum members.
My question would be.. "...you have made the investment into pressing equipment and you are going to be encoding the movie in a codex for BluRay which can be played back on a HD-DVD machine why not go ahead and release a limited pre-order only HD-DVD version of the movie...???

The people who own the content don't buy the manufacturing equipment. Please, no need prolong what's happened. Time to move on. If the there were reps, go find their posts and PM them.
