Any issues? I know the HD should be fine, and I assume if it is a combo, that it has a PAL SD side. Am I correct? It seems Ezy has some great deals.

BlackMR2 03-27-08, 09:13 AM yep spot on. I have only ever gotten maybe 1 or 2 combos locally here in OZ out of a LOT of titles sourced locally smeeagain 03-30-08, 08:54 AM Hey Aussie people, are there any Aus specific threads around for local issues??? BlackMR2 03-30-08, 10:59 AM not that i've seen. I guess in australia we are too busy boxing kangaroos and catching crocodiles to use computers :-) Yumbo 03-30-08, 09:24 PM Any (Warner) COMBO in Oz is the US R1 NTSC version. Otherwise all European releases. Yogi69 03-30-08, 11:28 PM When we are boxing crocodiles and catching kangaroos we tend to use our laptops to make sure we don't miss out on the sales... http://www.dtvforum.info/index.php?showforum=123 I have a few combos and they are all R1 versions sourced locally. My Smokin Aces is R1 - NTSC bought locally... com5984 03-31-08, 05:28 PM Only Smokin Aces is a COMBO. Rest aren't. The SD side will be in PAL and NOT NTSC. star trek season 1 is a combo com5984 03-31-08, 05:34 PM Hey Aussie people, are there any Aus specific threads around for local issues??? I think this is what your looking for http://www.dtvforum.info/index.php?act=idx gooki 03-31-08, 10:34 PM One thing to note - a lot of Aussie releases use full size DVD case, not the nice slim ones you get in the USA. Zyclone 04-01-08, 02:19 AM One thing to note - a lot of Aussie releases use full size DVD case, not the nice slim ones you get in the USA. i prefer the aussie thick cases :) rover2002 04-01-08, 04:12 AM i prefer the aussie thick cases :) Me to, but i hate the lack of lossless audio  lgans316 04-01-08, 05:01 AM One thing to note - a lot of Aussie releases use full size DVD case, not the nice slim ones you get in the USA. You are wrong. The AUS/U.K HD DVDs mostly come in 14 mm thick Amaray case and it has no resemblance whatsoever with regular DVD case. |
