Its pulsing like a heartbeat. I wasn't sure who to ask about this thought you guys might know. Its a compaq p1220 that I got to replace my other crt monitor that is going fuzzy. I bought it used, is there something to mess around with the settings? or did I waste $40 on a junk monitor?

A little more description would be helpful. Is the image changing in size, shape, brightness, sharpness, color balance, or a combination of these, or in some other way? Are you using a refresh rate that's mathematically related to 60Hz?

it is stretching horizontally almost like the wind was blowing on your projector and wiggling the image a little everything else is fine.
