Anyone else noticed the ads plastered over PSN saying "a new PSN looking is coming soon". I'm expecting something very sleak

We've known about this for almost a month now. It's scheduled for sometime mid April (can't remember the exact date).

It's been rumored for a while, but I think this is the first "official announcement."

Evidently this new design is stopping rockband DLC for two weeks? I'm guessing that announcement is an april fools day joke, but the guys on the rockband forum haven't hinted at that portion being a joke, at least not that I've seen.

i believe SCEE mentioned that no new content will be uploaded to PSN over the next two weeks. everything presently available should still be there.

Yes, but for those of us who snap up new Rockband DLC every Thursday, that's irrelevant. I've already downloaded everything presently available for Rockband that I want.

I could care less about existing content, or even new trailers, demos, etc, but it's going to suck if some badass DLC is announced and we have to wait! I always thought the old store was fine, and from what I can tell with the pics, they just gave it some new graphics and moved the buttons around a bit. Seems like a waste of 2 weeks!

I agree. Two weeks for a simple redesign is unacceptable. I could see if they were adding something new like movies or music to the store.

And FFS, get rid of the damn once a week update! It's assinine to hold back content (i.e. Rock Band DLC), simply so can add everything at the same time. Do they have like 2 people managing the PS Store or something???
