This might be the legendary Combo problem, but this is the first time that a HD DVD hasn't played in my add on drive. Basically, it won't play the disk. It acts like it will but it goes to a black screen for about 10 seconds then says t can't play it. I tried cleaning the disk, but that didn't help. Any recomendations?

i bought my hd dvd add-on a few weeks ago and have recently experienced similar problems with combo disks. i also found a trick to play the movies. insert the disk and then the xbox will tell you that its unreadable. dont press ok on the menu with the error, just eject the disk and re insert it and the movie will just play. works for me every time on the combo disks.

Cool, I will see if they will do the same for me.

its funny cause mine did the same thing last night, I simply went to the memory section of the xbox, selected the hd dvd add on and deleted everything. It played all the way through after that.
