Watching via D* on Panny 50" 1080p plasma.

Lots of grain and compression artifacts noticable, mostly on the long shots. I'm sure D*'s MPEG2 compression is a large factor. When is D* going to get ESPNHD in MPEG4 format? This is ridiculous.

Beautiful new ballpark. Can't wait to visit next time I'm in DC.

Anyone notice how high the press box camera is? I dont think I have ever seen a broadcast from a stadium where the view looking out on the field is so high.

Yes, I did notice that as well. The high 3rd camera is quite high as well.

Looks great here on Time Warner Cable. Sometimes I forget what sports in HD (or I guess sports in general) looks like without a ticker constantly rolling along the bottom of the screen.

I noticed that on the MASN show last night.
I'll be there beginning of May, I wonder if they're already making provisions to move them down below, like they had to do at PNC Park. The broadcast booths and press box are on top of the stadium, while the high home cameras sit 2 levels below at the club level.

I like how close home plate is to the stands and that rock wall behind the plate. Guarantee that comes into play at some point this year.

Great feed on Time Warner on my end.

Can't wait to watch my Mets on SNY tomorrow!

For the High Home shot I actually prefer the higher viewer, but I will admit that it was quite high tonight.

Here in Detroit at Comerica, FSN always uses the High Home position in the 2nd Deck, but ESPN and FOX always use a lower pressbox level position as high home. The lower position I feel does not look good at all, because the backstop net is always in the shot.

Looked grainy here in Long Island, Cablevision.
I agree, the overhead cam felt like you were 10 stories up.

Grainy pic on D last night. At least the game turned out good for me.
