The Blockbuster's in my area have a deal going on where you buy 1 used game, get 1 free (all games $14.99 and under). I was able to get Kameo and Earth Defense Force for $5 each. (They are priced $9.99). They also had Chromehounds, Ridge Racer 6 and Arcade Unplugged priced at $9.99. I could have gotten two of those for $5 bucks too, but wasn't really interested in any of those. Probably should have gotten Chromehounds and Ridge Racer 6 anyways, just to use as trade bait. Oh well.

They also have some really good deals on Xbox 1 games. I got Chronicles of Riddick and Outrun 2 for $2.50 each.

It's too bad the sale is only for $14.99 games and under. They had Oblivion for $19.99 for the PS3. I would have bought that, and another $19.99 game, and then tried to trade that Oblivion for another early PS3 game like Virtua Fighter 5 or something.

If you guys find any good deals on 360 games, let us know. Hopefully the pricing is national, so if you get a good deal, we can find a Blockbuster locally that has the game for the same price.

TODAY (monday) is the last day for this deal.

I got NBA 2k6
NBA LIVE 2006
Madden NFL 2006
X-Men: The Official Game
MLB 2k6
and Shrek the Third.

I paid 5,5,5,5,7.50, and 7.50 for those games.

I already got over 4500 achievement points from those games since friday. :) I am such a "Cheevo Whore"

Yeah, 2 year old games are usually cheap everywhere, especially sports games.

I know Chronicles of Riddick is older and they are eventually supposed to have a 360/PS3 remake of it. But 2.50 for it is a freaking deal. That game is awesom.

got in on this deal saturday before easter. Kameo and earth defense for 9.99. Best deal in videogame history for me. Played edf on the projector the other day with the surround sound on. It was amazing. Jeez you passed on chromehounds,eh? I woulda been all over that for 5. Even if it sucks, oh well

Well, the main reason I passed on Chromehounds, was because I couldn't really find another $9.99 title to go with it. I guess I could have got Ridge Racer 6 with it. The main reason I'm interested in many of these games, is to use them as trade bait. When you get them for $5, it's hard to pass up on it. Cause you can offer 3 or 4 of them, for 1 game that you really do want. For example, I'd have no problem trading 3 of them for a game I'm really interested in. It would be like getting that game for 15 bucks.

Of the games I got, Kameo was the only one that I was interested in, and that's because I have little kids, and they liked the game when I had it before.

Yeah, old sports games are pretty much worthless as far as I'm concerned. They would have to pay me to take an old sports game. Of course, I understand achievement whores wanting them. The other time they come in handy is when you're selling a used 360 system on Craigslist or Ebay. They pump up the number of titles you're offering with the system. If you have 6 crappy sports games that nobody wants, and 4 adventure type games, that still looks better than just 4 adventure type games. 10 games included looks better than 4 games included. It's a psychological thing.

While, I would agree with the sports thing, I've never seen non-sports Xbox 360 games for $5 anywhere. Normally the lowest I've seen a Xbox 360 game is $10, for something like GUN or the Tony Hawk launch title game. So getting a game for $5 is pretty cool, any way you slice it.

By the way, here are some other low priced games I saw:

Tomb Raider Legend - $14.99 (7.50)
King Kong - $14.99 (7.50) - This one should really be $9.99 not $14.99, suprised to see it at $14.99
Flatout 2 - $14.99 (7.50)

- can't remember the others.

I just got back from my local Blockbuster and they were pretty stripped clean for Xbox 360 games. All they had that were worth picking up were Chromehounds and Psychonauts.

I went to a few more Blockbusters today, trying to get a few more games before the deal was over. I snagged these 360 games:

Prey - 5 bucks
X-Men: The Official game - 5 bucks
Top Spin 2 - 5 bucks
Perfect Dark Zero - 5 bucks
Tomb Raider Legend - 7.50
Tomb Raider Legend - 7.50

got 2 Tomb Raider legends, cause I couldn't find another $14.99 game that I really wanted. I figure I can give one to one of my buddies or use as trade bait.
