Is there a site anywhere that lists all the 1080p games, or lists all games specs. I only like 1080p as on my 120" screen they look the best.

That's been my experience as well. The last native 1080p game I tried (that I can recall off the top of my head) was Lair and quite frankly it looked mediocre at best.

There are better looking PS3 games out there that run at lower resolutions. As long as your TV natively supports 720p, you'll find that quality games like Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank look just fine, even if you're playing them on a 1080p TV.

I have all pro football which states 1080p on the box, my TV is naitive 1080p and the game still plays at 720...still looks great so its not a big deal really.

It is probably like COD4 where you have to "force" it to output at 1080p.

If the game is rendered at less than 1080p then it's getting scaled somewhere, period.

I had the same issue with CoD4: where I have a 1080p TV, running thru HDMI, CoD4 was set at 1080p, but TV would say it was 720p. I went into the XMB and unchecked 720p. Now CoD4 is running at 1080p. This may have been fixed, since there have been 2 FW updates since.

Its to hard for most games to get a good framerate at that resolution so they leave out alot of the eye candy you would find had the game been at a lower resolution. So that said I think you would prefer lower resolution with a better quality picture.

NBA 08 looks real good in 1080P.

Ridge Racer 7 is fantastic, 1080p and 60fps. Highly recommended.

1080p is too far of a reach for this gen. Like that last gen, there were a few 720p titles on the xbox, but they weren't all that hot. I expect this gen to be no different with 1080p games to be few.

I just wish the ps3 had a better scaler as one of my screens is a 1080p, and the ps3 looks horrible on it when the screen (dell) does the scaling.

I think GTHD is also 1080p
