Hi,

I am about to purchase the Insteon KeyPad Linc and Insteon dimmers for my theater lighting control.

I have 4 sets of pots I want to be able to control:

* On/Off
* Dim
* Scene

The pots are:

2 x Pots STAGE
2 x POTS Front of Room
3 x POTS Mid Room
6 x POTS Soffits

I have a 4 GANG BOX installed. Is it possible to add the keypad linc into one on my gang spots and still control the 4 lighting zones seperate as well as in SCENE MODE?

Yes, the KPL can control a load with full dimming or as a toggle on/off. And it can be included in scenes via the other buttons on the KPL (providing new firmware).

How would you dim the pots up and down connected to the KPL?

So in order to control 4 sets of pots I need 1 KPL and 3 Switchlinc Dimmers model # 2476D?

If you tap the button it acts as on/off. If you hold button in it dims or brightens depending on last action.

Correct - if you need dimming on all.......I ended up putting all my SLD's in closet and had the KPL in the room for control

You can also use In-LineLincs. That's what I use for my sconces and other lights that I control with my keypad links. I just mounted them in single-gang boxes in the antic.
