Watching Dodgers v Giants on D* free preview of MLB EI and the new CSN BA has a different graphics package than any of the traditional CSN packages. Looks like the SportsNet New York graphics package rather than the CSN Chicago, New England, Philly, Mid Atlantic packages.

CSN Bay Area on 732-1
CSN Chicago on 729-1

i am watching my recorded version of the CSN bay area game right now and our CSN graphics does look pretty nice, the bar doesn't stretch as far as the old FSN one does.

argh don't know why i snapped the crappy photo when that guy was on...

Whoa those graphics do look nice. Is this a package that will be adopted by all the CSN stations?

I hope so, much cleaner than the current CSN package

something i just thought about... what happens when FSN does their national broadcast of college football games (ie pac 10)... is the newly rebranded CSN going to revert back to old FSN graphics for those games?

The main graphics package will be the FSN package. The other CSNs that show FSN national games cover the top right FSN bug with their own logo.

That logo looks a lot like the SNY logo -- makes sense I guess, since they also own SNY. It definitely looks better than the logo that most of the other CSN channels are using.

As for the score graphics: While they definitely look nice, I kind of like the simplicity of the black and white theme that they have been using on the other channels. It's less distracting.

SportsNet New York is a joint venture between The Mets, Time Warner and Comcast.

According to dcrtv.com (http://www.dcrtv.com/), Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic will soon be getting a facelift, to match the new graphics and sets used by CSN Bay Area. I wouldn't be surprised if the other CSN's follow suit.

CSN Revamp Coming - 7/10 - DCRTV hears of changes coming to Comcast SportsNet: Yesterday, "Washington Post Live" and "SportsNite" moved to a temporary set inside the newsroom. Both of these shows will share the same set for at least the remainder of this week and all weekend long as their respective sets are being remodeled. Bethesda-based Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic will be relaunching soon, along with a new network logo, which was first used by its sister San Francisco-based Bay Area network. More soon.....
