So we were watching Knocked Up HD DVD on my A35 and all the sudden around 1:28:37 my A35 just locked up. No matter what button I pressed I could do nothing. I had to hold down the power button on the unit for 20 seconds. I rebooted the A35 and tried the disc again. About 20 seconds past where it locked up the first time the disc started skipping and then the audio was totally off???? So I took the disc out and noticed some tiny scratches in it. Very weird because I keep my media anally pristine!!!??? Plus we watched it 3x before on my A2 with no problems.

Is there anyway my A35 could have scratched my disc? Is there anything I can do to get these scratches out of my disc? I appreciate any help. Thanks!

I have repaired a few Netflix discs with Meguiar's Plastx Cleaner, if you try this make sure you rub from the center of the disc to the outside, don't use circular motion. Was with mild soap and water after the plastx.
