Deciding between these two and was looking for input. The Sony obviously has the size advantage, but 50" is still big enough for me at 8' viewing distance. From the sounds of it, it sounds like the Panny should have a better overall picture, correct? I just want to know what has absolute best picture quality. Very concerned about the green tint/other screen defects in the Sony.

Yes, a number of the Sony's do have the green tint issue, but most don't and the ones that do can be fixed.

In my opinion the A2020 has a better picture than the Panny. The Panny is good (and with the Pioneers being discontinued probably the best from a flat panel) but the Sony is incredible.
