Hello everyone, I'm looking to get into get into calibration. I've used Avia and DVE, but I wan't to go further. I'm looking at the spyder series, but I'm not sure which one to get. I went to the datacolor website and see that they have several choices. I will be using this for my Sharp Aquos LCD model LC37D43U. Can anyone make a recommendation on what to get? Or even another brand. Thankl you.

I am in the exact same boat as you. So far I have figured out by reading posts:

1. Spyder2 - Could be better
2. Eye-One LT - Best bang for the buck (Same as Display2 but more simple software)
3. Eye-One Pro - Best Under $1000 but finicky
4. Spyder3 - Could be good but no one: a- knows for sure, b- is telling. LOL

So I think I am going with the Eye-One LT, what have you decided?

Yes facing the screen without the attached white diffuser or facing the projector with it.
