Hey All
Does anyone else own this pair of wireless speakers? I just started using them today, and I'm having trouble avoiding hissing as I move around in my cube. I've tried adjusting the "Tune" slider on my headphones, but I can't seem to find a setting that eliminates the hissing.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

My wife bought me a set of wireless Senn headphones. Bless her. It seemed like a good idea. But I ended up returning them. I hate returning gifts she gets me, it gives her the wrong idea.
They sounded like a decent pair of headphones connected to an fm radio - which is about what they are. There will always be a little hiss with radio transmission, and I found it varied with which way I was facing and what I was doing.
I returned the wireless headphones, and bought an extension cord. That might be a good alternative for you if you use them in a single room.

Thanks a lot for the input. I'm in the same situation. I had been wanting a pair of wireless headphones, and my gf got me these. I listen to my music through iTunes at work, and I wanted wireless due to all the wires in my cube for my computer.
Unfortuantely, as I move around my cube, I get a hissing/static-y sound. If I sit still they're fine, but any movement seems to cause a problem. I was really hoping to find a cure for the problem without returning them, if at all possible, for the reason you mentioned above. :)

One more bump to see if anyone else has fixed this problem. If not, it looks like I'll have to return them.

and turning down the headphone volume, as opposed to a quiet source volume with turned-up headphone volume, if that's an option with your setup.
That was one recommendation I saw repeatedly on the Amazon forums from people who had bought Senn RS-130-140 wireless phones. It didn't seem to work for everyone but alot of people found they got better transmission in terms of less hiss and longer range.
I just tried it with my new RS-130's and it worked. It's far better with my computer volume turned all the way up at the source in terms of BOTH hiss and range. Probably better headphone battery life too. OTOH I probably don't have as much interference as you have, but you could give it a try if you have the option of changing the output power of the source that plugs into the Senn base-station transmitter.
