Hello - getting ready to buy a sub and torn between the Paradigm PDR8, PDR10, or the HSU STR-1 or HSU STR-2. I do have hardwood floors and it will be used for my bedroom. Speakers (Paradigm Atoms and sub) will be powered from a Marantz sr5002 reciever I just picked up. Any recommendations, have heard the Paradigms but since HSU is internet only have not heard them but read great things about them.

HSU is better in general. The brand doesn't need to match since the sub covers a different range than the Atoms.

I have paradigms titans and a PDR10. Go with Jesse S recommendation and pick out a HSU.

If you want to stay with a Paradigm sub the DSP 3100 has a very nice sound to it and blends very nicely for music. IMO, it is a much better sub than the PDR series.
