Folks,
Well, with audio drop-outs, constant re-booting & series manager not recording, I've kinda' given up on the Motorola 6416!!!! My only dismay is Verizon has been the BEST at customer satisfaction that I've ever been involved with..........they do EVERYTHING possible to make FIOS-TV work and it DOES work WELL [IMHO, better than satellite or cablevision] WHEN the Motorola STP is fully functional. It was OK after installation but has been downhill since. Now that TIVO has a deal with a lifetime subscription FREE, that might be the way to go..............if there's no problem getting a cable card through Verizon.....that works!!

In what ways does it outdo Cable/Sat?

Where are you finding a Tivo with free lifetime?

Yeah, free lifetime tivo?

It isn't quite free. They are selling a bundle where you buy the TiVo and the lifetime at the same time. It is the only current Lifetime deal that they have. You are still paying for lifetime, but it is not a separate fee.

At least if it is the deal I'm thinking of.
