the other day green pwr light on for 4 sec then off, no picture. how big of a deal to fix this if anyoe has previous experience with mits 73711 9"crt style rptv or this family of tv sept 2000..this was just before dvi and later hdmi. picture has been great with no serious problems,,I did notice in the months leading up to failure that tv would sometime be very slow to put up pix when resolutions were changed..tv fed thru the up to 1080i component inputs..Chicago area

Have you tried to reboot the set? it says "system reset" on the front of the set, get a paper clip and open it, stick it in the hole, do not turn on the TV to do this, the green light should flicker for a few moments, when it stops, turn on the TV and see if that did the trick, otherwise I'm guessing you need a repair tech to check it out, fortunately I have not had that problem with mine, just had to have a tech repair mine when the remote wouldn't connect with the TV, good luck
