You have to go into the menu and select "rear ceiling" to flip the image if you ceiling mounted your unit. What type of connection are you using? gwlaw99 04-03-08, 05:08 PM "no sound" 99% of projectors do not have sound. Rocenante 04-03-08, 06:00 PM And the focus is adjusted by the lever on top (or the bottom, if you have it ceiling mounted) near the lens. david 04-03-08, 06:03 PM Did your projector come with a manual?? Sheridan1952 04-03-08, 06:09 PM 99% seems a bit too high, I've seen a lot of projectors that have sound capability. Having said that, the HD70 does not. reconlabtech 04-03-08, 06:11 PM I think we need more details. reconlabtech 04-03-08, 06:13 PM The 2 watt speaker in a data projector is not what you want for home theater. It barely works in a conference room meeting. gwlaw99 04-03-08, 06:21 PM 99% seems a bit too high, I've seen a lot of projectors that have sound capability. Having said that, the HD70 does not. You are right. I should have said 99% of home theater projectors. Sheridan1952 04-03-08, 06:25 PM Home theater units, okay. Most of (if not all) of my experience is with business class or data units. So my experience is skewed. I'll keep that in mind next time. Thanks. You are right. I should have said 99% of home theater projectors. I know I was just having some fun, The link i provided might help the OP with some setup tips.:) reconlabtech 04-05-08, 10:20 AM I guess BeverlyJean doesn't really need help. Won't come back and give us any details with which to work with. eightninesuited 04-05-08, 04:37 PM http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/fip-pcim/images/signs/symbols/T6.1.1.gif They should start putting this logo beside all the other logos on Home Theater electronics. :) reconlabtech 04-05-08, 06:22 PM This thread is about to get good! Tyro 04-06-08, 04:29 PM Is this thread a joke? http://www.projectorcentral.com/Optoma-HD70-projection-calculator-pro.htm +1 Must be :D CT_Wiebe 04-06-08, 06:06 PM Why are you "guys" jumping all over BeverlyJean's post? I have read many threads (99%+ from male members) that didn't know that home theater PJs don't have sound capability. Since the advertisements just say that HDMI connections include the audio signal and no other connections are necessary, most HT first timers don't realize that there is a difference between front projectors and other types of video displays.
