got the 1500 and lovie it,

right now only thing hooked up is my dish hd receiver.
hooked up via hdmi

for some reason it will not let me highlight/adjust the color..is it because its hdmi.??

with the dish rec set to 16:9 i like the REAL setting most. anyone else.?

You can adjust the contrast and brightness settings for each color over HDMI by hitting the enter button on the "User" setting in the Color Temp selection menu.

The regular color control option is not available when using HDMI as far as I know.

This is a weird thing that the HC1500 does that I haven't figured out. I can set the color when I have it hooked to my HD-A30 via HDMI, but the color setting is grayed out when I have it on my H21-200 DirecTV box. :(

So, my fix is, I just turn on the HD-A30 and set it when it's on.
The setting sticks.......:cool:
