Do these kv-30hs420 tv's have that anti-reflective coating on the screen?
Also I heard next year all cables companys will be feeding digital cable into the homes, so inorder to use my kv-30hs420 and a SDTV 36inch JVC tv with the new changed cable what do i need to do?

The Congressional requirement to switch to digital broadcasting only controls over-the-air signals. Cable companies may still broadcast analog if they desire. So consult your provider to be dure.

There is no way the cable companies are ditching analog. That is a huge competitve advantage for them over local broadcast and satellite all digital. They will eat the bandwith to ensure they keep an attractive lineup of channels to keep/get folks with analog sets; at least till they mostly disappear after 4 or so years
