I have my HS 20 sold, so I have to finally upgrade!

All of my sources are Scaled up to 720p with video scaler for Standard Directv, standard dvd and Wii for gaming. I also use ripped Dvds on htpc. No plans to go Blue Ray anytime soon.

Theater room is totally light controled. Lights off for movie atmosphere, and lights on or dimmed for gaming. Seating is at 14' and 20'. Screen is 2.05 120in diag. white with 1.4 gain.

I was thinging of either the Epson Home Cinema 720 or the Panasonic AX200U. Both review at Projector Central well. Lots of talk here on both. Just not sure which one.

Thought about going to 1080p projector, but not read much good about doing the stand def without noise and artifacts.

I would have to order next week to make my deal on the sale of Hs20 work, I am getting about 2/3rds the price of the AX200U for it!:)

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

I recently went from a 7 year old Sony 10HT to an Optoma HD73. I couldn't be happier and I got it for a great price.

I went from an HS10 to a HC720. I am pretty happy with the move. I could find a good enough reason to spend the extra money to go 1080p.
