Okay, this is a HUGE deal for me. I've had a 360 at launch, sold it for the Elite last April. Now we FINALLY got high speed in our area, hooked it up last night. What are my next steps to get connected to XBOX Live??:confused:

I think you just select Join Xbox LIVE on the dashboard.

My PC is in another room. Are my only options 1)to get a Wireless router for both the PC and XBOX, and 2) to get another cat.5 ethernet cable to go from the PC to the XBOX??

I was going to buy a wireless adapter but just ran a cable from my PC with a wireless connection to the XBox and shared the connection. Saved $70

A wired connection is always preferable as far as performance, but either will work.

depends on how far the xbox is from the router if you want wired or wireless. Either will work fine.
