Hey guys. Just got this TV and firstly I can highly recommend it for gaming. It's a major step up from my 42" Sammy DLP.

I have my Xbox hooked up to HDMI 2 input via the Mad Catz conversion kit and there is no audio from the TV speakers. I do have my Tritton AX360 cans hooked in via the optical output and sound IS working from there. I have removed the optical cable to see if it was no pushing to HDMI because of it with no luck. Any ideas?

The madcatz cable basicly digitizes the component signal and thats what you still get in the end , a component signal.there is no audio information in it.

IMO the madcats HDMI cable is a scam since you dont even get a better image then the regular component cable set that comes with the console.
